This year’s  Lednica  wants to honour womanhood in a special way. First and foremost, this is homage to Mary. Our Blessed Lady should be a paragon of virtue for every girl and the love and respect we have for Her, should also help to educate men.

 

We would also like to show how deeply rooted the Marian cult is, in our Polish culture and , therefore, invite you to bring all the countless images of Mary from the whole of Poland to our event on June 5^th.. This idea was inspired by Slowacki’s play  entitled          “ Beniowski”. Through this, we would like to emphasise the countless ways in which Mary shows us Her love, that through Her images she may be part of our event and remain in our hearts forever.
